My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding to my clients.
I was a workaholic who survived on performance addiction and said 'yes' to everyone and every project and by doing that it took a toll on my health. I ended up with Adrenal Fatigue and didn't have energy to do anything. I was tired of being tired all the time and saying 'no' to all the fun things that I wanted to say 'yes' to!
For those of you who haven't heard about Adrenal Fatigue it is an invisible syndrome. You look 'normal' but you don't feel like you. You can barely get more that 4-5 hours of sleep every night and it isn't rejuvenating sleep, your body stops fully absorbing the nutrition that you are eating, your hormones and emotions are all over the place, you have incredible brain fog and are not fully comprehending what others are saying or even emailing you because you are so sleep deprived. I was at a point that I was not giving 100% of my capability because I was so burned out. I just didn't know at the time what was wrong with me. It's frustrating because no one understands what is wrong, especially because you look the same, hence this is an invisible syndrome.
What happens when you combine, lack of sleep, nutrition, lack of self care and so on? You become forgetful, grumpy and not the you that you once remembered. The smallest things will set you off! You are like a volcano ready to explode! Unfortunately, those that are closest to you are the ones you tend to explode on. Luckily, I have an incredibly supportive and understanding husband. He really helped me get from the bottom of my health journey to where I am. It is always good to have strong supportive friends and family members to be a support system not just in the good times, but in the bad times too!
It took about 1 1/2 years and 3 doctors later to find someone who could even figure out what was wrong with me. I thought oh well this is what happens when you hit 40 and I just need to catch up on my sleep. Thank goodness for my holistic chiropractor! She was able to diagnose me and get me on a path back to my 'normal'! This was amazing and exciting to know that this wasn't just how life had to be or would be. It was sad that I had created this as part of my lifestyle, but I was hopeful that I could heal.
Needless to say, I felt like a hot mess and needed to make some big changes. I was traveling a lot for work at the time and decided to find an online program to heal myself since I didn't have a lot of time to go to local doctors. WOW- what did that say about my mindset back then? Yikes! This healing was not just one of Adrenal Fatigue, but also mindset, nutrition, self care and more.
I started exploring wellness and my journey of study organically led me to what I am doing, helping to guide other highly driven Superwomen who are exhausted from managing everything and everyone to overcome the nagging feeling that there’s never enough time in the day to get it done and the weight on their shoulders is only getting heavier so that they can finally figure out how to release the pressure and feel energized to live a life outside of the ‘to do’s’.
I am here to support Superwomen and help them do some deep dive inner work to rediscover who they are and who they want to become. Not all journeys are the same. I have walked in Superwoman Overdrive mode, know how to stop that cycle, redefine a Superwoman and help those who want to create some semblance of harmony back into their life today. No need to wait one more day, no need to have one more sleepless night. You just have to be ready to want to make some slight changes to Redefining the Superwoman that YOU really are!
With technology, I am able to work with clients all over the world using a video conferencing platform. No need to worry about additional commute time to get to a physical appointment and hitting traffic on your way home.
A lot of people ask me about my hobbies; I enjoy hiking locally as well as at National Parks. Anytime I can be in nature, I soar! I also love cooking, baking, reading and getting movement in whether that is hiking a trail, bike riding, walking my dog or going to a yoga class.
My husband and I have been married over 20 years and continue to enjoy adventures of traveling, hiking, eating all different kinds of food, reading and spending time with family!
Extensive experience allows me to guide you, with over 800 hours of coaching and over 1000 hours of coaching education in addition to my BS from UMCP.
My client success stories reflect my ability to, time after time, help clients improve their health and achieve a higher level of life satisfaction.

What I have learned is not for me to keep inside but to use to guide others on their wellness journey!
In 2017 I launched my business and hired a designer to create my logo.
I wanted a tree of life to be part of my logo for several reasons.
First, I like the meaning of having wellness rooted so deeply into the earth and that all offspring of a family would have this continued knowledge/experience of wellness. We need to be grounded and connected to this amazing planet. It has so many incredible resources at it roots!
Trees look like our lungs so to me this tree is breathing life, energy, and creating opportunities every second we take a breath. Look at the branches and see their tiny branches and see if you see lungs when you see a tree!
As humans we have the ability to take that breath, breathe in all that has been given to us by God/Creator/Source (whatever name you choose) and continue that process until we take our last breath.
That when the last breath comes that part of our legacy will be the health and wellness that we have each created and given to our families for generations to come in addition to all of the material pieces. If we don't have our health, how useful are the material pieces that life has to offer?
I see lots of successful people in their sixties and beyond that have been very strategic with money and creating a financial legacy. Sadly, I see too many people at that stage of life falling apart physically as well. Most of them actually start seeing signs of this in their forties. I am sure you see it to in some of your friends and family.
Have you reconnected with friends from college or high school or even from just 5 years ago, and don't even recognize them today? I have friends who look for houses without stairs, are winded from walking to the parking lot to the grocery store, taking medications, can't walk a mile without being exhausted, and are ready for bed after working eight hours a day. Their unhealthy lifestyle has taken away their wellness and they can’t do the things that they want to do.
If one doesn't learn about all the various aspects of health and wellness as a kid and they are only repeating patterns of their ancestors, how would they know to do anything differently? People will tell me oh, I am going to have xyz because my parents and grandparents have xyz. Did you know that in most cases that is only 10% true? Yes, genetics play a role. Lifestyle plays a bigger role about whether something in our DNA is expressed and to what level. Now this isn't in all situations, nothing is, but it is in a lot of the ones that I see in my clients.
Just imagine, you can change your legacy of your total well being by making changes today?! It is never too late to start!
Secondly, my mom had a metal tree of life that stood on a shelf and she hung pictures of her kids and grand kids on the branches of the tree. I always loved that piece and how she had all of us displayed on the tree. My mom passed at 56 years young. Unfortunately, her life was short and since her passing, I have had this burning desire inside of me to figure out what didn't I know that could have helped her, what didn't she know, what didn't the doctors know and so on.
(That metal tree of my mom's is what I took a picture of that I sent in to my graphic designer when creating my logo. I wanted my mom to be part of my logo and the roots of that tree to circle and embrace all of us like a big hug of renewal and love.)
Health and wellness was not something that was taught to me growing up and it wasn’t taught to my mother or father either. Generations will repeat what they know, unless we break the cycles and learn some new things and make different choices. So here I am breaking cycles, breaking patterns and sharing those wellness messages with the world around me to help others create the wellness legacy of their dreams.
My mission with my business is be a support and guide for these highly driven female professionals that haven’t learned how to truly nurture their wellness so that they can not only have the energy and physical lifestyle that they want at any age, but also the ability to live a life with so much energy that when the weight of the world is heavier on one day, they have the tools to support them on their own path.
I am creating wellness for generations to come, starting with you!
