My own journey to finding a healthy lifestyle has given me insight into the many challenges one encounters. This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding to my clients. 

I was a workaholic who survived on performance addiction and said 'yes' to everyone and every project and by doing that it took a toll on my health.  I ended up with Adrenal Fatigue and didn't have energy to do anything.  I was tired of being tired all the time and saying 'no' to all the fun things that I wanted to say 'yes' to!   

For those of you who haven't heard about Adrenal Fatigue it is an invisible syndrome.   You look 'normal' but you don't feel like you.   You can barely get more that 4-5 hours of sleep every night and it isn't rejuvenating sleep, your body stops fully absorbing the nutrition that you are eating, your hormones and emotions are all over the place, you have incredible brain fog and are not fully comprehending what others are saying or even emailing you because you are so sleep deprived.   I was at a point that I was not giving 100% of my capability because I was so burned out.   I just didn't know at the time what was wrong with me.   It's frustrating because no one understands what is wrong, especially because you look the same, hence this is an invisible syndrome.  

What happens when you combine, lack of sleep, nutrition, lack of self care and so on?   You become forgetful, grumpy and not the you that you once remembered.  The smallest things will set you off!  You are like a volcano ready to explode!  Unfortunately, those that are closest to you are the ones you tend to explode on.   Luckily, I have an incredibly supportive and understanding husband.   He really helped me get from the bottom of my health journey to where I am.  It is always good to have strong supportive friends and family members to be a support system not just in the good times, but in the bad times too!

It took about 1 1/2 years and 3 doctors later to find someone who could even figure out what was wrong with me.  I thought oh well this is what happens when you hit 40 and I just need to catch up on my sleep.   Thank goodness for my holistic chiropractor!   She was able to diagnose me and get me on a path back to my 'normal'!   This was amazing and exciting to know that this wasn't just how life had to be or would be.   It was sad that I had created this as part of my lifestyle, but I was hopeful that I could heal.

Needless to say, I felt like a hot mess and needed to make some big changes.   I was traveling a lot for work at the time and decided to find an online program to heal myself since I didn't have a lot of time to go to local doctors.  WOW- what did that say about my mindset back then?  Yikes!   This healing was not just one of Adrenal Fatigue, but also mindset, nutrition, self care and more.   

I started exploring wellness and my journey of study organically led me to what I am doing, helping to guide other highly driven Superwomen who are exhausted from managing everything and everyone to overcome the nagging feeling that there’s never enough time in the day to get it done and the weight on their shoulders is only getting heavier so that they can finally figure out how to release the pressure and feel energized to live a life outside of the ‘to do’s’. 

I am here to support Superwomen and help them do some deep dive inner work to rediscover who they are and who they want to become.   Not all journeys are the same.   I have walked in Superwoman Overdrive mode, know how to stop that cycle, redefine a Superwoman and help those who want to create some semblance of harmony back into their life today.   No need to wait one more day, no need to have one more sleepless night.   You just have to be ready to want to make some slight changes to Redefining the Superwoman that YOU really are!

With technology, I am able to work with clients all over the world using a video conferencing platform.   No need to worry about additional commute time to get to a physical appointment and hitting traffic on your way home.

A lot of people ask me about my hobbies; I enjoy hiking locally as well as at National Parks.  Anytime I can be in nature, I soar!  I also love cooking, baking, reading and getting movement in whether that is hiking a trail, bike riding, walking my dog or going to a yoga class.

My husband and I have been married over 20 years and continue to enjoy adventures of traveling, hiking, eating all different kinds of food, reading and spending time with family!
