Bagua
The Bagua (pronounced bah-gwah) is one of the foundational tools in Feng Shui. It’s a nine-section energy map that helps you understand how different areas of your home or office reflect — and influence — the key areas of your life.
Each of the nine sections (called guas) represents a specific life theme such as Career, Relationships, Health, Prosperity, Creativity, and Helpful People. By placing the Bagua over the floor plan of your home, a specific room, or even your desk, you can quickly see which areas of your space are connected to the intentions you’re wanting to strengthen.
In Western Feng Shui, the Bagua is aligned by using the front door as the reference point, making it simple and intuitive for any home. From there, we look at how color, elements, symbolism, and arrangement can gently shift the energy to support what you want to cultivate — whether it’s more abundance, clarity, vitality, or ease.
I use the Bagua with clients to reconnect their living spaces with their goals, values, and well-being. It’s a powerful, grounding tool that helps you shape your environment, so it nourishes and reflects the life you’re creating.
